The Salad King Restaurant reopened their doors to the public in late February. After the Empress Hotel was ravaged by fire and subsequently torn down, Salad King found a new home in the historic Thornton-Smith building located at 340 Yonge Street, directly above Foot Locker. Their new location is spacious, brightly lit and serves the same legendary Thai cuisine that patrons have been waiting for months to enjoy. Despite the line-ups, the experience at the new Salad King is worth the wait. The Ryerson community is also thrilled that Salad King was reopened its doors to the community.
