'People simply can't afford the spaces that are available.'- Mayor John Tory. Mayor Tory has said he wants to do more for child care, yet he is proposing to make childcare more expensive for families.
On February 7th Mayor Tory's Executive Committee will approve a budget that will eliminate the Childcare Occupancy Grant that will increase fees of more than $350 a year per child. Let's tell City Council to Stop The Cuts!
